The Kitsap Great Give is a 24-hour "give-day" that unites our community to support the many nonprofit organizations that make Kitsap a great place to live - for all of us. Presented by the Kitsap Community Foundation, this annual community movement of generosity has resulted in more than $17 million in community support since 2014.

Early giving starts today, Saturday March 1, 2025. We want to ignite an annual community movement of generosity! There are over 300 nonprofits you can donate to - and we'd like to be on your list!

Founded in 2008, NKTA is an all-volunteer organization that uses your donations to advocate, plan and maintain Kitsap's network of land and water trails. Our mission is to connect North Kitsap communities to parks, open space, schools and private developments with a habitat corridor network of safe recreational and non-motorized active-

transportation opportunities for walking, rolling, paddling, observing wildlife, horseback riding that boost the local community's health, pride, outdoor access as well as Kitsap's economy.

With your donations, NKTA promotes, plans, sponsors and advocates for:

• Accessibility on Kitsap’s non-motorized trails for all types users of all ages, abilities and interests;

• Parks and open space land conservation with interconnected trail networks of habitat corridors.

• Non-motorized active-transportation and recreation opportunities that help combat climate change.

• Trail safety and sustainability maintenance projects to correct existing user hazards and erosion;

• Forest restoration with native plantings, invasive species removal and tree preservation projects.

• Ongoing Puget Sound to Pacific (PS2P) collaboration with our partners and other organization.
